Modernization of Slovenian patrol vessel Triglav
Our company played a key role in the comprehensive modernization of the Slovenian multi‑purpose patrol vessel Triglav, taking responsibility for the delivery and integration of the Aselsan's SMASH 30 mm remote weapon station.
This advanced naval weapon system enhances the vessel’s defensive and operational capabilities, contributing to improved maritime security and mission effectiveness.
The project was formally handed over to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia on 17 December 2025. The handover ceremony took place at the Iskra Shipyard in Šibenik, where representatives of both countries gathered to mark the completion of the modernization program.
Senior defence officials from both Slovenia and Croatia, including the defence ministers of the two countries, were present, underscoring the importance of the project and the strong cooperation between the nations. Both delegations visited our artillery workshop where we had a Bofors 57mm naval gun disassembled in pieces ready to be re-assembled after full major overhaul, a proof of our strong expertise and capabilities.
Our participation in this project reflects our continued commitment to supporting regional defence capabilities through high‑quality naval systems integration and long‑term technical partnership.
